Camp
At overnight camps in New York’s Mid-Hudson Valley, children ages 8-15 make new friends, develop leadership skills and gain self-confidence.
A day at camp is full of fun activities like learning to swim, arts & crafts, archery, learning to play guitar, exploring the outdoors and more!
My favorite part of camp is getting to hang out in the cabins with all my friends – I’ve made lots of new friends already!

Camp is special to me because I get to see everyone care for each other. At The Fresh Air Fund, we support each other and just like they say, a summer lasts a lifetime.

Friendly Towns
Visiting a volunteer host family is a unique and fun opportunity for children ages 8-14 to travel to a new place and make new friends.
Favorite activities include going to the beach, playing in the backyard, riding bicycles, barbeques, swimming and more!
Friendly Towns is a great chance to experience something new outside of your comfort zone.

It was a great week of fun outdoor activities. We were all so happy to be together, and the time went by way too fast!
