Countdown To Summer
We are counting down the days until summer!
Camp
At overnight camps in New York’s Mid-Hudson Valley, children ages 8-15 make new friends, develop leadership skills and gain self-confidence.
A day at camp is full of fun activities like learning to swim, arts & crafts, archery, learning to play guitar, exploring the outdoors and more!

My favorite part of camp is getting to hang out in the cabins with all my friends – I’ve made lots of new friends already!

Camp is special to me because I get to see everyone care for each other. At The Fresh Air Fund, we support each other and just like they say, a summer lasts a lifetime.

Friendly Towns – Update
The Fund’s very first program was the Friendly Towns volunteer host family program, and the organization has evolved over the past 147 years to include six sleepaway camps and year-round enrichment programs. The Fresh Air Fund recently completed a strategic plan to set a vision for the future and, as part of that plan, we have reached the difficult decision that it is time to focus our resources on our thriving camp programs and we will no longer be offering the Friendly Towns program moving forward.
