Camp
At overnight camps in New York’s Mid-Hudson Valley, children ages 8-15 make new friends, develop leadership skills and gain self-confidence.
A day at camp is full of fun activities like learning to swim, arts & crafts, archery, learning to play guitar, exploring the outdoors and more!
My favorite part of camp is getting to hang out in the cabins with all my friends – I’ve made lots of new friends already!

Camp is special to me because I get to see everyone care for each other. At The Fresh Air Fund, we support each other and just like they say, a summer lasts a lifetime.

Friendly Towns got me out of my comfort zone. There were so many new activities, and I built a great relationship with the Walsman family

My experience with The Fresh Air Fund expands beyond Friendly Towns. My newfound confidence in leaving home prepared me to join the Career Awareness Program and attend Camp Mariah for three weeks over the summer. I then was able to attend the College Connections Program which prepared me for college.
